T O P I C R E V I E WsthenriJust checking, this is a fun aspect if you like to socialize, one person I respect with the Sun conjunct DC is John Lennon. Are friends more important than lovers to you? Are you part of a team at work or do you prefer to work alone?NatashaTaurusastro junkieGreat question!astro junkie*bumped up to top*sthenribumped again,NatashageminstoneMine is.. the orb being 10 degrees though. Is that still considered, when dealing with this aspect?~ geminstonesunsetgirldescendant 0 ariessun 1 arieslovers are MOST importantlove working alone AND as a team. MUST have both!sunsetgirlincidentally, I'm kind of the opposite of John Lennon. He was sun libra with aries rising.KarkaQueenmezareaMy ex has sun (aries) conjunct DC. His sun is at 19 degrees and DC is at 7 decree Aries. I don't know if that's a true conjunction. His ascendant is Libra of course. So he has all the aries fire but I didn't fully understand the influence of this aspect until I saw a documentary about John lennon with this aspect where it talked about how Yoko Ono was always with him no matter what he did, somewhat of an extension. yet, at one point, he had gone to California and just found another woman who he had an affair with for maybe a couple of months. I don't remember. Given what everyone one made of their relationship,t hat's the last thing that I would have thought of.But anyway, back to my ex, HE HAS TO BE IN A RELATIONSHIP...or at least, have a companion with him no matter what he's doing. When he's not in a relationship, then it's a best guy friend who works as an extension. When we were together, we would do everything together which was great but gets tiring when you just want him to go and do him...If he's cooking, doing something on the computer, his work...everything...he needs you around to bounce idea on, to push him forward...it gets heavy: like carrying a boulder. The irony is that as an Aries with an Aqua moon, he's also very independent, has bouts of demanding his freedom and space (Uranus is also on his Ascendant opposing his sun) and it's just maddening: because then I was like, well, you insist to have me around...push and pull at its worse. I know it's the same dynamic in his other relationships, before and after me. downtomarsFriends are not nearly as important as lovers to me actually (sorry, Sun is in Leo/AC in Aquarius, I am just being honest) and I prefer to work alone. I am not a serial dater. I do prefer to be in a relationship and I really feel alive in one but I am not an active seeker, even though at times I try to be (via internet ). I have a bit of recluse in me, so that's probably why.
